Beacons becomes an FA Charter Standard Football Club

 

Hi all. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and Santa brought you all you wished for. Well, Beacons FC got the best present of all. We are now officially an FA Charter Standard Football Club!!! 

 

This is fantastic news for every one of us – player, parents, managers and volunteers.  It shows to the World that Beacons FC is a big club (something we knew already) and that we are serious about our football. It also shows we are a well-run and organised club.  

 

Having the FA Charter Standard should open doors for us when it comes to lottery funding and other grants to help us finally get our home ground which is the next big project. It is a wonderful achievement for the club. It has been a long road to get to this point but it has been worth it. It means that 2008 will be a fantastic year for this special club of ours.  Every single one of you should feel proud of yourselves for what this club has achieved. 

 

I want to specially thank Planty, and founding fathers Tony Carpanini and Darren Kressinger for all their hard work behind the scenes in reaching the Charter Standard goal.
